ONTARIO OPEN INTERNATIONAL JIU JITSU CHMAPIONSHIP (GI EDITION) is the biggest and most prestigious tournament in Canada.

Our first tournament was in 2009 with over 600 competitors. Fast forward to 2024, we had our biggest tournament in canadian history! That year, the tournament was held in beutiful Oshawa General Centre with 14 competition areas and 2000 competitors!



REGISTRATION FOR OUR 2024 GI EDITION IS NOW OPEN! 2025 Ontario Open International Jiu-Jitsu Championship (GI Edition) will take place on MAY 3-4 at Tribute Communities Centre - 99 Athol St East, Oshawa ON

All schools are welcome to participate in this highly lauded and exciting event.

All belt levels in the Kids, Youth, Teen, Junior, Adult, Master 30+, 40+ and 50+ age categories will compete. Registrations are now OPEN and will close Monday April 28th, 20245 midnight or when full capacity is reached.

We do not accept any registration after Monday April 28th, 2025.

Check-in day and last day to make changes to your registration is Tuesday April 29th at midnight, no exceptions.

Schedule: Thursday/Friday (prior to tournament day) the schedule will be updated and you can find what time your division will start, be at the venue at least 90 minutes prior to your division starts.

Brackets: Friday prior to the tournament all juniors, adults and masters brackets will be online.
